VETR Recruiting has been engaged to find a Senior Estimator for the Dallas-Ft Worth area. The right candidate will have at least 4-9 years estimating experience and preferably within the Light Industrial, Office, K-12, Higher Education and/or Life Sciences.
Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
- Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- Proven experience managing large-scale preconstruction efforts with emphasis on client’s core markets
- Prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines while constantly changing tasks and demands
- Experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or vendors in DFW
- Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans
- 4-7 minimum years' of construction estimating experience preferred
